Play Josh Coburn from now on.

Only tall, strong striker we have. Only proper goal scorer we have. Stick (whoever)? up front with him. If he misses the goal so what. At least we will have a goal threat and somebody who will shoot. Four games without a goal so a free hit. Oh, and he will probably score. (y)

Didn't look like scoring on Saturday. Still think he need loaning out next season. He is better coming off the bench for us but for his own career he needs to play. Still looks a boy.

Completely agree, we definitely need a focal point to play off. Look at Fulham and Bournemouth with Mitrovic and Solanke.
It's how you get out of this league.
Ask Neil Warnock...
Thanks 👍

In this league I think we should have kept Ikpeazu, at least for this season, but that’s now water under the bridge. I also think we should play Coburn and not loan him out.
Start Watmore with the Yorkshire lad and go for the 12 points.
Give Wilder the £15M we should get for Spence and have a real go next season.

I thought it was baffling decision to bring him on in last game. They were compact, sitting back, letting us have the ball and trying to hit us on the break(with great success). That is not the game to bring on Coburn. He is useful when we’re counter attacking.

He needs to go out on lon to a team that either plays 3 up top or a counter attacking team otherwise he’ll just be another boro player who doesn’t make it and drifts off to non league.

I think the opposite applies, he's strong in the air and has a knack of getting on the end of things, so given how deep they were playing it made sense to me.

I actually think there's more question marks about whether he is mobile enough, or quick enough, to play in a pressing team. To be honest we've not seen enough of him to know, but from what limited game time he has had I do have some doubts.

Opinions I suppose.

He doesn’t come across as strong or good in the air to me yet. Didn’t win a thing in last game, don’t think he touched the ball. He’s not fast but neither is Rhodes and he was effective in the counter attacking role. He’s got a good 20 mins as a super sub and he needs to build on this with some game time, possibly with a loan club.

He does have a knack of getting on the end of things, which is a bloody good knack to have as a striker ⚽

Watmore and Balogun for me with Coburn coming on as sub, not fair to put so much responsibility on him until our position's terminal re playoffs
