Pirola Covid

Erm are you for real, this site from 2020 to 2022 was the epitome of stay home save lives cult.

Sweden was the devil incarnate etc..

Not one person who supported the draconian measures that did far more harm than good and ultimately left society where it is today (crumbling in case you're wondering) has come out and said 'ye that was terrible policy making in hindsight'.
Everyone wanted to compare approach vs approach. You can’t because each country has a different dynamic(pop density) and a different culture.

The U.K. has to impose lockdown because the government implanted and all or nothing mentality. Also British culture of in all right jack means government intervention would be needed. Draconian measures for the time we had them in was down to government incompetentce

Had we not lockdown our hospitals would have got to breaking point, that’s for sure

I have an amazingly rare and incredible immune system, according to scientists.
My immune system treats covid 19 as if it's a cold, which results in showing no symptoms at all upon infection.
The vast majority of people treat covid as something akin to a cold. That was the point. A cold doesn't kill 200,000 people but covid does. As covid has an extended incubation period the problem was identifying what you had before going out. If covid exhibited as a big red rash then it would have been less of an issue working out who had covid and who had a cold.

Very few people on here supported the measures in the way they were adopted. People just accepted that the government had made such a mess of things early on that more draconian measures were required. We were saying it was terrible policy making at the time so there's no need for hindsight. The problem was that not enough was being done early enough to prevent spread to an island nation. The lockdown et al was the result of the terrible policy decisions, it wasn't the policy decision in and of itself. Stuff like "Eat Out to Help Out" also caused no end of further problems.

Its not just articles though is it both me and my wife had gall bladder issues and ultimately both had them removed, could it be a coincidence yes but in my mind it isnt, there's the random I met who's relation also had the same.
What do you think is more likely? You and your wife, out of the population of people taking the same vaccine, both happened to be effected by the vaccine in a similar but highly unusual way, OR, you and your wife picked up the same strain of covid that acted on your bodies in a similar manner. I know which one passes the Occam's Razor test, and it's not the vaccine.
