Was always a top end player, can see him being a regular in the premier league soon… unfortunately even if we could’ve competed with the fee + wages, he would’ve always chosen Leeds. More money in the squad to build for promotion, probably a better lifestyle, bigger fanbase. From an unbiased view it’s a better move for him, exact same for Tom Cannon at Leicester

Didn't they pay what could end up being about £16m for him. Even if we were in a position to have paid both the fee and his wages, he'd have still gone to Leeds.
