Set me off reading about Highbury, the clock initially counted down from 45 mins. The FA insisted it was replaced as they thought it undermined the referees authority. A conventional clock was installed.

Two of the stands are still up, the main entrance and ticket office inside. The side stands have been converted to apartments with new apartment blocks where the North Bank and Clock Stands were. The pitch is now gardens.

Yes and very close to the Emirates so could be easy to visit if we get promoted.

I was walking through Eston cemetary a few years ago and came across his grave. I always make a point of walking past it whenever I go in there now.

Highbury was a ground I visited on many occasions and also got to take my lads there. On one occasion I was taking a photograph of my son and trying to get the pitch in when the steward stopped me and I thought he was going to be a jobsworth. How wrong I was, the steward asked if he would like to stand next to the corner flag to get his picture taken. The steward took my son to the flag and we got a brilliant picture and memory of that day.

Pity Arsenal stuffed us again.

You can’t get in now as the gates allow only residents in. However was there a few months ago and somebody had left the gates open so we sneaked to have a look around. The pitch is now a communal garden. The complex is very nice.
