Or maybe, hear me out, we make the wages for all these jobs nobody wants to do like carer etc higher so people want to do them. Just my opinion but I think allowing businesses to import cheap labour instead of paying people adequately is the wrong way to go. The money is in the system, instead of the shareholders maintaining their profit margins ad infinitum maybe it was about time they accept they have to take a smaller slice of the pie instead.

That's a bit utopian and can only be a long term plan. Companies need workers now.

No he wasn't.

He was an Eurosceptic who, upon becoming Foreign Secretary, saw his beliefs collide with reality and then accepted that the UK's membership of the EU was, on balance, 'a good thing'. A sober recognition of facts isn't passion.

Plus it puts more money into the treasury to pay for OUR health service, social care, education and transport needs.
