People standing wherever they want at away games

This video has been circulating around Twitter over the last 24 hours, and it’s a bit surprising how many people just seem to think the unwritten rule of away games is you can go wherever you want and if you want to stand at your allocated seat then you are the problem.

What’s your take on this?

Me personally I’ll always stand at my allocated seat and anyone who’s already there will be asked politely to move.

It's a knock on effect, we arrived after the KO at Plymouth away went to our seats and they were taken so moved down a few steps to two empty seats, and then those people arrive 20 minutes into the game, you can imagine that wherever you go all it needs is a handful of people to sit in the wrong seats earlish and then it has a big knock on effect.

It's ridiculous. That said some away stewards don't help.

I've been to away games and asked where my seat is. They have been known to say 'just sit anywhere'.

If a club wants that then just have none allocated seats tickets. Then everyone knows where they stand (literally😂).

As above, it’s just pure selfishness and causes a bit chain of problems.

Luckily I’ve never had an issue with it as I tend to get to away games early doors.

Same here if I get in early, no problem. Sometimes you get a group who will pile in and expect you to move along, fortunately I'm a big bloke and and can put that bit of counter intimidation out there , it works.

I think the video is from a Man Utd fan.. Turing to make out they are a green Street be a use they filmed two little scroats standing in someone else’s seat.
