Browne needs to grow up he let his team, his manager and his fans down by seeing red at Swansea - he deliberately went for an opponent. That was after receiving a yellow with virtually his first touch and following two previous games at the Riverside where he had to be subbed to prevent him being sent off.

Pears is really, really young by GK standards. Only the Huddersfield keeper is younger with more appearances. Ideally he could do with a year on loan in League One and then come back and challenge for the number one shirt after that. The lad was basically asked to step up from National League North (level 6) to a struggling Championship (level 2) team. He should be judged as a potential future number one keeper
