We were heading up to Tyneside earlier and passed an incident in the southbound A19. Three cars smashed up, including a police car. Looked horrendous.

She stopped to help at an RTA on the A19 towards York and was killed by a Lorry along with another driver. What on earth are you doing posting such vile comments

On the basis of what is on the public record I think she appears to have behaved in a very human and courageous way in this tragedy and I am very sad that she died. I have no idea whether she was a good or a bad officer otherwise and no knowledge of why she might have been. Nor do I suspect the original poster has. It is therefore particularly disgusting that he has roped her in for his agenda, whatever it is, based on this tragedy. He should be ashamed of himself.

I passed this RTC on Saturday driving up to the match. It was just south of Thirsk. I have been talking to NYP this afternoon giving them a witness statement to what I saw. It’s a very sad incident, and just topped off a very crap day. RIP to both victims.

I can tell you that her colleagues are in bits, that much I did learn whilst giving my witness statement. I know what that feels like too. One of my friends from the office I worked in at Humberside Police ended up under a tipper truck whilst riding to work on his bicycle for the day shift. It’s absolutely soul destroying.

@Norman_Conquest - I can see you have edited your openings post and normally see you as a gentleman but you seem to be missing the point. You appear ( unintentionally I truly believe) to be trying to giving condolences to someone on one hand are also trying to score points against somebody on the other hand.
