Paypal scam

Is doing the rounds. Just a heads up, as this one looks really convincing and will probably catch a few people out.
I was quite alarmed to get two emails from paypal regarding requests for payment. The emails were legit emails from Paypal, but the payment requests were not legit and included the following message:
ALERT: SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY ON YOUR ACCOUNT AMOUNT £989. 99 GBP DEBITED FROM YOUR ACCOUNT, IF YOU DIDN'T AUTHORISE THE TRANSACTION CALL US AND STOP THE PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY @+44-800-***-****
If you get one then just log in to Paypal and cancel the request. Do not phone the number that comes with the payment request!

I have just had this very scam and, thanks to this thread, I was alert to it and cancelled payment. Otherwise I would most probably have thought it was a phishing email and ignored it.
