Payero pronounciation

Pa-he-ro, but the Sky commentator came out with something so entirely different that, like the OPI cant remember what it was either.
Not very Latin sounding Martin is it. Might as well be called Alan or something.
Typical Boro, even our big money Danish striker Martin Braithewaite had a name more akin to Rotherham than Copenhagen.

More likely to build you an extension on the back of the house than score you 25 goals.

Actually, that's how it worked out ironically...

I speak Spanish and would pronounce it PaYero, but I’m not familiar with an Argentinian dialect.

Pajero does indeed mean wânker, it also means straw (Pája) there is a Straw Square in Madrid, imagine my surprise when I found myself in wânk square.

Yeah Argentinian is distinctly different to other pronunciations in the Americas. Which themselves are very different to Castilian Spanish.

I didn’t know it meant straw. So he’s a straw worker then? Does that mean his English name would be Thatcher? The only job I can think of that works exclusively with straw!
