Thoroughly discredited and clinging on, the Tories' only play is endless Culture War diversions (with a dishonorable mention for the failing tactic of trying to prolong public sector strikes in the hope of leveraging resentment against strikers). So as tens of millions suffer with the cost of living, their Vice Chairman Lee Anderson declares the next election will be about " Culture War and trans rights". Now here's their latest attempt to try and breathe life into last year's orgy of Royalist genuflection: a free portrait of King Charles for every public institution - at a cool £8 million. Moral bottom feeders.

The Tories want us ‘mere mortals’ (working people) arguing with each other about ‘nothing’ and distract and divert away from the shambles they’ve created in this country and it’ll work with quite a few alongside voter suppression with id required therefore I expect it to be close given Labour also has an uninspiring starmer (although I like him as a man)
Lots of reasons to be scared about the future
