Hope he’s ok for Blackburn.

just how good can this lad be for us? He can win pens for fun and dribble through the eye of a needle. I think he’s gonna be a joy these next few months.
Would love him back next season to help forge a play off push.

There was a suggestion that the loan is with a view to buy, lets hope thats the case and he gets settled and happy here.

He is a proper player. We looked a bit lost once he went off I thought, he was the link between midfield and attack.

Looked like a hamstring injury. As he went down for the pena he started to hold it and within 10 mins he was off.

He's a really good player, something we haven't seen for a while, always looking to go past people and play a through ball. Don't think his injury seemed too serious, walked off with barely a hobble, probably one of those where you can feel your hamstring is going to go but it hasn't yet.

Block21, just & our luck & Woodys TBH, he should be celebrating his 40th but he'll be cursing his luck today
After winning those 4 games on the bounce & at Preston we looked a good, well organised unit, we have sort of fallen away with injuries in the areas that we are struggling with
This season is certainly a baptism of fime foe JW, if he comes through this I a comfortable midtable finish I will look on it as a positive & hopefully we can move on next season

Agree , if we can keep a strong record at home for the remainder off the season and pick up a point here and there away from home I’m confident we can take that momentum in next season and hopefully give it a good go

hoepfully Roberts is a part of that, catching feelings for a loan player is the worst :ROFLMAO:

Another season in the championship would give us the chance to develope players more . Right now we’d need a new squad if we somehow miraculously made the playoffs. The likes of Roberts would benefit immensely with us next season .

Just hit this page by accident.
Interesting how things changed so quickly.
COVID ,
Goals to help keep us up ,
High hopes for the second season
Out of the team under Warnock
Sent to Derby …..

He was rubbish
I thought he was a very good player to be honest, at least technically, but he was just too weak and went missing too often. So, overall, not much use for us.

I suppose in a team which can do his running and keep him involved then I can see how he could be ok for this level.

Not enough "end product" IMO.

It might be interesting to read what Sunlun fans think of him. The few times I've watched play in deckchair colours he has looked the same. Good ball control, can beat a man but ALWAYS looks to cut inside and shoot (even when he does get a shot off he's not that effective) entertaining to watch but...

A glowing appraisal

There is a lot that don't rate him. As you say, good technique and can do certain things well, but not enough end product.
6 assists and 2 goals playing wide right in a team who are 4th, from 37 games is very poor.
For context he has 1 more assist and 1 more goal than Riley McGree, having played 21 games more.
