Patrick Roberts?????

Think this is one we regret, really think on his day you dont get any better at this level. A player like that isnt ever going to do well being in and out of the side. Can guarantee he will be a prem player in a few years

Certainly don’t regret it right now. Kebano will do me. Roberts isn’t a a Warnock player and he’s best to be elsewhere. Let’s see how he gets on at Derby

He isnt and its strange that we signed him again tbh, but I still think at this level with a run of games he will be quality. Really hope he does well at Derby. Dont think we even saw 50% of what he can do

I think hel look good on the ball and Derby have nothing to play for and won’t get relegated either so should play with out fear . Should climb the league a bit

the reading game last season was the best he played for us. Think we played 4-4-1-1 that game and he was really good.

He always looked better playing with fletcher than britt, so think he needs decent movement in front of him.

He's no wide man that's for sure, but I could see him being good in the right team.

Not top level though, haven't seen anything to suggest he'll end up in the prem. He's not quick enough in foot or brain to step up for me.

I was very surprised when we re-signed him this season as last season he just wasn't a Warnock type player, he always seemed to struggle to find a role for him and seemed to be critical of Roberts over other players when we underperformed, this season that has continued and if anything got worse, Warnock didn't trust him and rarely used him and for a confidence player like Roberts you're not going to see the best of him ion those circumstances, he's a player that needs a team built around him rather than someone who can do a job in various systems, this season he has shown nothing that would warrant him a regular starting berth and it's in his and the clubs best interests that he move on, if Rooney can build a system around him then he has the skill and vison to excel if they can't then I would imagine he'll become one of those players that will drift down the league until he resurfaces with an FA Cup goal for Shrewsbury v Crystal Palace in 5 years time.

Genuinely thought when I saw him make his debut for us against Spurs in the FA Cup we had a hell of a player in the making. What a crushing disappointment he has been. Wish him well.
