Yes, all Bild says is that they are envious that we will be coming out of restrictions in June while they currently have no hope of that.

The 'journalist' really blows it with his first line where he says most English people only know one word of German. Most German people can speak English as well as, if not better than, his readers.

Alot of the words we use are steeped in German. It isn't surprising as they pretty much annexed us during the Anglo-Saxon period.

Mutter, Vater, Schwester, Bruder, Onkel, Tante, Sonne, Tochter, Brot, Milch....all of our basic words that were used at that time.
 
It is a sorry and pathetic headline. That newspaper, like many others sadly, embarrass our nation. It is about time newspaper told the news from around the country and the world as it actually is, rather than printing salacious gossip, political lies, celebrity and comic book articles that are not worthy of a second glance. This baiting of the EU needs to stop as does the whole remain/brexit argument. We need to get on with improving the lives of British people and working in true partnership with other nations to make the world a better and safer place for us all. Of course it will never happen, money and wealth seem far more important to some.

I would keep quiet about Volkswagen.

I still remember the deaths of many young Argentinians reported as ' Gotcha'
 
At one point everytime I went to the spar on acklam road they were giving free copies of the sun away with every purchase. Think I bought some chewing gum once and they said do I want one.

Came in handy when I was doing a bit of painting.
