Panic in America

Well personally I'm more concerned about what trump may do in the few weeks before January he loses .
I think it's fair to say that's there's a huge spilt in the nation , but we have to hope that , for the most part, common sense prevails.
As another poster said, the UK beginning to look like the USA mini-me in many ways
Of course the uk is following the USA and more worrying is voter suppression in USA which the tories will adopt here limiting the amount of time to vote and amounts of voting centres knowing the less well off often vote less (those who tend not to vote Tory)
It’s coming here. It’s shocking what republican governors are doing and being taken to court over it.
The irony is incredible. They all talk about FREEDOM is the USA and yet are fine to limit the freedom to get out and vote.
As I have always said the USA is a whacky country and the uk is hard on their heels to become the same sadly....

Social media is talking this up and making it all the more likely.

Hopefully common sense will prevail.

I don’t think we are anywhere near the USA in this regard.

Panic on the streets of London; Birmingham; even Carlisle; Dublin, Dundee Humberside too.
Even the Leeds side streets...and some provincial towns.

I really hope you lads are wrong about how badly things will go in the USA, but those actually there are really making me think.
I am so glad we don't have guns so very readily available here.

Haven't Walmart stopped selling guns and ammo as some predict civil unrest next week regardless of who wins the election?

In some places that is correct the one close to me still sells ammunition. It has never sold guns with the exception of air rifles the power of which would be banned in the UK
