Their growing support says more about the amount of corruption amongst FF & FG than anything else. Social media has lead to their inadequacies being more openly discussed, and civil war allegiances disappearing.

SF are seen more as a party of the left in Ireland.

I am very well aware. And when they came back they were ignored. They could not get a government job, work for the post office, spat at in the street. It lasted for decades. I suggest you read up on It. The Irish Times had a special on it 'Irelands Shame'

Why not go back to the Battle if the Boyne. You keep justifying, I can't as a Catholic with very very slight Irish ancistery. There was zero justification for Birmingham, Warrington Enniskillen or others. It was evil justified under our religion

I have the opposite of one side. A music group of kids were murdered for no other reason than to allow the press to say they were carrying arms, it was bollox. We should be ashamed. I hope tomorrow there will be one Ireland, but someone has to convince the loyalists.

However I have looked and looked and cannot find any example where the British army set off a bomb in a packed pub.

Simple. Sinn Fein are effectively run by the 7 man IRA Army Council. Backroom staff like the secretive, strategic thinking Ted Howell, ( Gerry Adams previous advisor and confidant) and a tight cabal of others. Together they make sure they check everything prior to being cleared as party policy etc. The other Dail democratic parties have stressed they must be more transparent if they really want to be taken seriously. Any dissenters are bullied out of the party. Nobody is allowed to question the authority of the Army Council. Yes, the other parties are far from perfect but they do not have a private, secretive volunteer 'army' for back up if things go wrong. And the others have not carried out 'atrocities' to further political aims.

It's appalling, both the nutter loyalists and the same for Republicans. I am sure there are nutters in the army, after all a lot were from NI.

Any attack on civilians to me is cowardness.

It quite simple to me. Put a bomb in a pub a blow people having a pint to kingdom come you are not a soldier in an army you are a murderer of innocent people.
Put a bomb in a shopping centre bin in Warrington on a Saturday morning and hideously kill two school children you are not a soldier in an army you are a child murderer.
Put a bomb at a remembrance ceremony you are not a soldier in an army you are a murderer of yet more innocents.
I don’t care which flag or religion you do it for you are quite simply scum . So let’s get rid of this army bollox they are a rabble of backstreet thugs that resorted to murdering kids and innocents when they least expected it.
