Our Strikers all have terrible goal records

How has our recruitment team got it so wrong in this regard? Individually all 4 out and out Strikers had poor strike rates by any standards. Their records read as:

Forss. 107. 22
Hoppe. 37. 7
Muniz. 48. 11
Akpom. 213. 37

Total. 385. 77

An overall goals per game record of 1 in 5.

What were they seeing? Were we trying to be too clever? Not like players who have scored a shed load at a lower level and can understand the gamble. Serious questions should be being asked and well before January when we are going to have to drop some serious money.

Maupay, Toney, Watkins, Pukki.. cost peanuts.. it’s about good scouting, and playing to a players strengths.
