Our fans last night

I watched this match with my son. We laughed when one of the commentary team declared that nobody would want to come to this intimidating stadium in the playoffs.
there was nothing intimidating about it, the home atmosphere was crap
disagree - lovely, old skool ground

boro fans were very loud on tv, impressive
It's *****, view is *****, no leg room between seats, facilities are terrible, even in the 80s it was perceived as a shitehole amongst shiteholes

I mean look at the state of this for a concourse...the lager didn't even have a name FFS

It's uncomfortable, filthy and pretty unsafe I think!

Where your feet are under your seat there's a step.. so it's hard to stand and the space between the seats in so small.

Minging toilets, no proper refreshment facilities, ***** view because of the pillars and poles, cramped walkways and staircases.

I'm not sure how a Premier League campaign could be held there if they got up... We had to spend a fortune in 2016 when we went up... and that was on the Riverside that was 20 years old!

I had no view of our right side defensively last night in the 2nd half. I thought the food and drink was ok - could actually get served. But the views and entry and exits are terrible. If there was a fire or something I dread to think what it would be like.

There was a canny rendition of 'you're just a soft southern bas*ard' coming loud and clear through the TV when one of their players was down 😃
Did enjoy that. (y)

I do wonder why commentators apologise for swearing from the benches (which I can rarely catch) and studiously ignore clearly audible profane songs including liberal and imaginative expletives that might grace the pages of Roger's Profanisaurus?
