Our age demographic and next seasons prices

I mentioned this on the price increase thread but it’s a different issue really that the demographic of the club is quite an older one and club needs to attract more younger fans and with many of the older ones put off by the fees this could lead to a huge number of younger fans not coming and with walk ups being prohibitive they need to be careful not skip a generation.

Unless we're in the top three pushing for autos, when people then decide it is worth it again, regardless of age.

Where I sit it is literally 50% children, as far as the eye can see.

This is a very anecdotal claim Jedi, I think I’d need to see figures?

The price increase for under 18’s has been reversed and their walk up prices are going to be cheaper than the current season at £15.l so that should help.

Rob mentioned something previously about the %age of our season ticket holders that were concessions and it was very high. Makes sense because the oldies get a discount and there are kids being subsidised in the GRFZ. Working age adults and ones paying for multiple kids, especially outside the GRFZ, are the ones being priced out.

I think it is the walk ups that are the big problem because an adult and a child for a walk up is very expensive.

I don't think our age profile is much different to most other clubs. The whole of the UK population is getting older. Our family section has actually expanded in recent years and must be larger than most clubs.

The family section is now full. If you want to buy a season ticket there you need to go on a waiting list. Would be barmy, in my opinion, if we turn any families away who want to sit there. We should find a place for all of them.
