Our 4 loan players

Thomas and Ayling you'd have to say no. Not sure we even have alternatives to O'Brien currently, Greenwood meh.
 
Greenwood aside he’s been ok in spells. The other three dreadful. Ayling is living off his Leeds reputation. O’brien does neither keeping possession, drive forward or defend. Thomas as others have said looks shot of confidence.

Absolutely not.

I'm not as upset as others by our recent results/performances. I wasn't expecting us to get anywhere near promotion this season anyway. BUT my understanding is the whole point of this system is we develop our players and put ourselves into a position to sell for profit and use the funds to improve. If we're gonna give a third of the team over to developing the value of other teams assets, the plan just isn't going to work.
 
Greenwood is alright, when we are playing well he will pop up with assists and goals but he's never gonna be greatly involved in the play so when we're having a bad time of it he does nothing.

O'Brien would be alright with someone who can defend and stick their foot in next to him but neither him or Barlaser have a defensive bone in their body so we're just wide open in midfield constantly but unfortunately we have no ****** else left to play centre mid. Carrick should know this though and change the system or something to mask this glaringly obvious weakness but apparently we play the same system no matter what and chuck whatever we have in said system. I'm all for us having an identity, a system and a pattern of play but when we have had so many injuries and we're playing this badly you have to adapt and help the players.

Ayling and Thomas have been horrific so far, I'm confident that Engel is at least no worse than Thomas so he should be playing. The problem on the other side is that Dijksteel is also dreadful.
 
Been shouting it for a long time. Bar O’Brien who I think cares the other 3 bring nothing and couldn’t care less where we are next season - including League One. Ayling’s legs have gone and he is a liability. Djiksteel - an actual Boro player who gives everything and has pace benched every week why? Engel - strong as an ox, runs through a brick wall. Sets up many attacking opportunities with his overlap - kicked out the team that beats Leicester so Luke Thomas who has shown nothing can come in. Why? Greenwood who a blind man can see despite running around like a headless chicken simply isn’t good enough brought in for Azaz who has actually scored recent goals. Why? If either of those 3 start the remaining games we will go down. It’s crisis time and someone needs to tell Carrick the loan players are part of the problem not the solution
 
Ayling and Thomas aren’t championship players, they shouldn’t have been signed in the first place but definitely shouldn’t be playing now. They are both appalling
 
O'Brien has been the biggest disappointment, he was a good player at Forest.

I think the injury has really effected him.
