Osmotherley up in arms

When I was a lad I used to go fishing up at the reservoir, you’d hardly see a soul other than other people fishing, an there wasn’t even that many of them - now it’s like Piccadilly Circus round there. A place to be avoided now sadly

Something about this hot weather brings the worst out in some people, or is it the sunny weather brings the worst people out.
Osmotherley, sheeps wash and Cod Beck is a disaster zone in weather like this.

They really should create a landscaped car park at Osmotherley, it's the gateway to the Moors and hills with lovely walks in all directions. Must be a nightmare for the residents with walker's turning up every weekend, not to mention the pub customers. You even struggle to get parked early evening.

I s'pose a towel is a little more hygienic then the skirt hem, and she hadn't brought her facecloth for use on the undercarriage.

when I was around 14/15 it came to my attention that posh girls had 2 face cloths and that only one was used to wash their clocks :).

a clock wash cloth? i've never heard of such a ting!!
it's not about being hygienic.. it's more like overstepping the mark of public decency and then a poor effort to try and claw back some dignity. it doesn't sit well with me.

We've probably all been caught short. I doubt she deliberately drove there to use the facilities. Sometimes there's less than a minute or two between me realising I need a slash and then finding myself urinating on a roundabout in the middle of traffic, behind a car or in an office waste paper bin.

My office is inside the medical school library and earlier this year when I went to get my morning coffee, one of the librarians and the cleaner were taking photos of a waste bin. Had to have been a medical student.
Hopefully not a wicker basket bin.
