OneBoro forum

I went on for a bit and found the content pretty similar to here, but for some reason there are only about 6 threads that are just constantly updated, you can’t create a new topic (or it’s frowned upon at least). I think it steers them away from politics etc which isn’t a bad thing but I’m just too used to this place.
 
Surprised at how many whiny, bitter moaning feckers are on that thread. If you don’t want to get involved in politics don’t open a thread about politics, it’s not hard. I’m very much a centrist but get on perfectly fine on this board minus the odd bit of bickering but to say people get hounded off is laughable. I know a few people who were deliberately trolling have been given the chop but that’s a different issue anyway. If you want to post something political you need to be able to back your views, it seems a few that can’t don’t like it.

Did you realise it was not worth the chew before or after they threw you off the board and banned you?

Before.. that’s why I sent a s***y message to the admin.
 
I joined years ago but it's so long since I was on there that I can't remember my username. It's a decent board if all you want to talk about is football, but I'm of an age where I've virtually lost interest in football other than watching the Boro, and really, how much can you say before you've covered everything? The various threads that are about neither football or politics keep me popping on here even during the off-season.
 
Its a matter of intellect, critical thinking, mutual self respect, considered restraint, moderation and polite discourse, which places this particular forum [and especially this thread lyke] above the norm. ;)

I think Liz Truss lasted longer as PM than @newyddion did on One Boro.😊
