Just watched the goal, he made a great run from deep and no one followed him.

Good cross, well worked but awful defending.
 
It was a very well worked free kick, off the training ground. I actually was thinking our defensive line was too far up, almost level with our wall, that makes it difficult for the defenders to run backwards when the opposition are running towards the ball. If we had defended deeper we would have cleared that.
 
I haven't much time for Karanka and Clayton but one of them would have made sure the other one didn't let that run happen.

We haven't got that sort of disposable footballer in the current set up (fortunately) so this is likely to happen now and again
 
Tav put in a great delivery from a free kick on the left and there were a couple of good corners, we aren't blessed with that much height however aside from Crooks and Fry
 
Thay is why our defence is not what some think it is. It was soooooh naive, we ball watched. From my position in the East stand i called it. He was so left alone. I thought it was Dijksteel who let him run unchallenged but need to see the replay
 
It was a very tight game which I think we quite probably shaded in the end. The difference is a bloke who's got 38 goals on his own and a bloke signed from Liverpool for £12m. Put Mitrovic in our team tonight and we'd have probably won it. I think we played well and gave a very good account of ourselves. Fulham had to work very hard for that.

You'd also have to say that Crooks didn't need to make the tackle that led to the free kick being awarded. It was an avoidable goal from our point of view, but an absolutely brilliant delivery and header from theirs.

Maybe, but it was an easy chance to defend and Dijksteel for me switched off. I need to see a replay to confirm my initial thoughts tbf
 
It was Reed faking to take the free-kick initially which caught our defensive line out. Our players all hesitated and Mitrovic continued his run into the box, knowing that Wilson was going to take it.

Fry and Djiksteel appealed for the offside but it was a very well-worked free-kick to be fair. We got caught out.
 
All good points but just don’t let the top scorer in the Championship put Dael Fry in his pocket. (n)
