One game down could have been worse

Tough owning game without our new signing(s) as well I dare say well look a lot different in a few weeks so all in all not too bad.

a work in progress.

Not expecting anything massive this season - top half mid table. We showed enough last night to look like that will be achievable....3-4 quality players and who knows🤷🏻‍♂️
Playing 10 men + Saville is never going to be easy...hope Morsy comes straight in and takes his place.
We need 2 CBs, midfield creativity (No. 10) and 2 CFs just to give us options. Long way to go, early days.

I really don't think Boro showed anything that we haven't seen for years. Still no real goal threat, still no coordination, still no width or pace. Lots of short passing followed by a 50 yard hail Mary, and lots of half-hit scuffed shots wide and high of the goal.

Everyone is trying to find some positive aspect to it, but in reality it was a bitterly disappointing performance against a team missing 17 players and supposedly short on confidence.

Seems to be no urgency even at 1-0 down and the 85th minute and still passing it back to the goalie. Seen it last season with no improvement. Corners are same old without any real threat either in the air or as Tav showed, little thought.

Woodgate in charge:-

Hat-trick for J.Pinto and 5-0 thumping.

Warnock in charge:-

A 1-0 loss against a team who should be there or there abouts this season with more players for us yet to come in and improve the team, at the very least Morsy one and another central defender who will stick his head on everything. Wait till we are playing mid-table cannon fodder in a month or so to gage a proper judgement. UTB / In Neil We Trust! (Still could not think of a better manager to charge right now to sort us out slowly but surely)
