Hi, does anyone know if its possible to get old reprints of the Gazette. I'm looking for a specific article from back in 1990 (I think) when the local schools ran a penalty shootout competition at Ayresome Park. I have some information on it and would like to get it printed and framed.

You used to be able to look at old copies of the gazette on microfilm at Middlesbrough library and copy them (pretty poor quality mind). Then once you have the exact details you can contact the Gazette, they certainly used to keep an archive of old photos taken by their photographers.
Back in 2004/2005 I went through this to get a proper copy of a photo taken in 1978.

Anything you want to print off is possible, though as chickenrunner mentions, when printed off its poor quality

Ha, no. I was part of the competition and someone has posted a picture of it to FB. I'd like to try and get a print of it as my wife hasn't seen much stuff of me as a kid as we lost a lot when we moved back to the UK and the damn boat it was on sank.
