Donald Trump second term: What would he do if he wins?
If he returns to the White House by winning the 2024 election, he knows what he wants to do with the power.

He's favourite to be the next US president. He's favourite to win the Republican candidate and Republicans are favourite to win the next election.Which is exactly why he will never win a 2nd term.
He's also simply too old.Think the Dems are making a huge mistake sticking with Biden. He's done nothing in his time so far.
I always felt that the senior civil servants were the only thing that grounded the Trump government, averting some catastrophic decisions and watering down others.
wanna bet ?Which is exactly why he will never win a 2nd term.
And he is yet to face the cases surrounding the events of Jan 6th. But they are coming. Oh and if you fancy a bet on him becoming No 47 you should perhaps bare in mind that he is spending so much on his legal team (where he is actually paying them) that he has very little left to use in a campaign and the big donors are keeping their wallets closed. (Big donors don't like to back someone who is incapable of winning)Section 3
No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.
Nothing? He's favourite to be the next US president. He's favourite to win the Republican candidate and Republicans are favourite to win the next election.

You forgot to mention extending the border wall.I think you need to actually do some research and look up the CHIPS act, the Unemployment figures, the Infrastructure Bill and many other things.
Hopefully you're right, but if he does pull off another unexpected win, I can see this legislation leading to the suffering of many vulnerable groups, the homeless, immigrants, Muslims etcIf he manages to install his own cronies into those positions it won't help him. They won't have a clue how to get stuff done and they won't be appointed on merit so will generally be pretty useless/thick.
And as we've seen repeatedly with right wing populists here and the states they'll spend most their time measuring the size of their dicks and infighting. Nothing will get done.
The problem for everyone else is you need your government to be able to actually govern all the boring "BAU" stuff too and a lot of that will no doubt end up neglected while they argue over how best to try (and fail) to implement Trump's fantasist policies.
I agree with your concern. I have learnt never to be surprised by the stupidity of the voting public (just look at Strictly, and Brexit).I always felt that the senior civil servants were the only thing that grounded the Trump government, averting some catastrophic decisions and watering down others.
I hope and expect his bid to fail, but I also think it will be closer than many expect.
Not many people gave him a chance first time round and that's the concern.
Already have a bet with someone on here that he'll see the inside of a jail cell for at least one of his 91 indictments.wanna bet ?
