1. Yannick Bolasie - three times a charm
2. Kamil Grosicki - his name has been mentioned by fans for AGES
3. Baba Rahman - popped out of nowhere has to be something in it. coulson better suited further up the pitch, cover needed for bola or maybe even push Bola further up.. HAVE A BABA/BOLA switcheroo fullback/wingback/winger on the left.. almost worth doing just to say BabaBola!!

Britt and Fletcher coming to the end of their contracts..

Cauley Woodrow: didn't we contact Barnsley about one of their players in the summer? If we did, I bet it's him. Plus i'm sure they've been buzzing around Fletcher for long enough (no sign of him signing a contract)
a player plus cash deal might suit all parties?

Sam Cosgrove has been a name doing the rounds for quite a while. If Britt leaves I'm guessing we'll be in for Cosgrove another name that's been on the horizon for a while. He's taller than britt (according to my wyscout report)

Can't get much more official than that. As always more reliable that the newspapers and mainstream media and much more reliable than 'the other messageboard'

Now begins the countdown to the premier league summer transfer action..
 
Alex Mowett has been class last couple of seasons (scored tonight).

I think he's out of contract in the summer?
 
Given that we were told that the Bolasie move in the last window only failed at the 11th hour you would think that he would sign on January 1st. Let’s see.
 
I expect Bolasie in within a week or less. He's got no squad number at Everton and deal was pretty much done.

I'm not sure how fit he can be. He's not played since last season out on loan.

Jordan Jones does have that bite that Warnock seems to be after.. beyond that I'm not sure. Would he be getting a mention if he wasn't an ex boro lad? Would Mowett bring more to the table than what we have with Lewis Wing?

Anyone in League one worth taking a chance on? I see Jonson Clarke-Harris is banging them in again this time for the Posh-- good turn of speed by all accounts-- nice age 27, worth a punt perhaps? Then there's Siriki Dembele who has been attracting Celtic.

I like the look of Owen Dale for Crewe Alexandra 22yo winger 5'9

Siriki Dembélé is another one from the now defunct Nike Academy (same as Anfernee Dijksteel) sounds like they were on to a good thing.
 
If we can get the ginger Slaven signed up and Fletcher's recovery is on track we don't need to be too desperate in January. If Bolasie comes in I wonder where that would leave Roberts. Bola and Dijksteel this season have proved that with the right manager it's worth looking at value for money with future potential.

Apparently Geordies linked with him also, that might scupper our hopes and/or put the price up. Apparently Aberdeen accepted a £2m bid from a French ligue one side in the summer, but he didn't fancy the move.

Watmore looks more like a striker. He's had his fair share of time out due to injuries. I don't think Bolasie coming in as a left winger will affect Roberts, if anything by the sounds of it he will improve his chances as starting as a number 10.

I honestly think Warnock wants to keep Roberts but doesn't want to expose him unnecessarily. It's all well and good him chomping at the bit for game time, but if we find ourselves in the playoffs at the end of the season Roberts is gonna be no good on the treatment table. You don't get extra points when you're 3-0 up.

At the moment Roberts is like a best suit, you're not going to go down to the gym in it, you don't wear it to take the bins out either. We've got several big dos this season and we're not rocking up with sick on our jacket or a split up the backside.
