Last time I was there, was in the beer garden in The Bridge pub Ruswarp steamer came past so close could have touched it

My mother was from Bristol and whenever her family came up to to stay, we always went off to Whitby. Many happy family memories and photos of that place and those times.

One of my very favourite places. Walked from Staithes to Whitby a few weeks ago. Enjoyed it but the downhill parts kill my knees now. Locomansimon, you are one lucky man.

Yes, went to fortunes yesterday, my son inlaw bought kippers, no salmon unfortunatly

Avoid mables tea room unless you like your stuff thrown at you. We ate in old siam which was good.

Avoid the pie and mash shop. Cheeky greedy gets have put the price up from £5.99 to £9.99 for a pie and lumpy mash with gravy granules..
