I disagree that the squad needs a massive rebuild. If you have a massive rebuild it most likely means you're going to have to take cheap punts on players from abroad. I'd prefer for us spend the majority of the budget on players who we feel are going to be good enough for our first-team next season.

I'd keep Engel, Bangura, Azaz and Lath as squad players at least, and sort out loan deals for Silvera and Gilbert.

When some posters were saying "how good/exciting our new summer signings were" I disagreed, and would have preferred Quality over Quantity.

We would have been better off, buying two or three quality players, rather than signing seven/eight mediocre/average players.

That's why I feel we should aim for quality over quantity this summer.

Smith, Engel, Bangura, Clarke, Barlaser, Azaz and Coburn are not good enough to be starting for a side which has aspirations of making the play-offs, but they're decent enough players to have as back-up.

Let's aim to sign a few players who we feel will be of a similar quality of Giles, Ramsey and Archer this summer.

Strange one as he was brilliant in that Huddersfield team and I had high expectations. Obviously had a bad injury and we don’t know how much of an impact that has had on his current form. How often do players who are out for 4 months come back in and hit the ground running? Doesn’t happen often.

I can see him being bought by a team who gets relegated from the PL and getting back to his best next season.

If we'd bought quality over quantity we would have been fielding teams full of youth players this season. We've had a massive injury list since the get go which has made us very inconsistent, but hopefully this summer we will get the quality.

Despite the fact that we may well finish very close to the playoffs, perhaps even in the top 6? You want to replace at least 6 players?
