Oasis are rubbish

Maybe even on stage like the View!
Be like two middle aged hoolies squaring up to each other - few verbals, finger pointing, security casually wanders on stage to intervene then they both start to "kick off" knowing full well there's no chance of anything happening. Bored looking security then carry them off stage in opposite directions to their individual limo's.

Cue next day media spat ......🥱🥱🥱

I'm sure you're right, but is that so terribly wrong? If they put on a decent show and those attending get what they want out of it, making money isn't fundamentally wrong, is it?

The only other reason to reform might be for the benefit of the haters. Think about it: unless they were telling us that they hate Oasis, people might assume that they were fans, and that really won't do. By reforming, they've given every Oasis-hater the perfect opportunity to declare their hatred.
Not saying it’s right or wrong, just commentating

As the renowned musicoligist Homer J Simpson said: rock music peaked in 1974. However, it would be churlish to not allow following generations to enjoy their own awful music.
They should also be allowed a revival after a couple of decades. Just the one, mind you.

dunno, I saw suede and the manics a couple of weeks ago and it was rammed. Plenty of other good bands from that era that people are interested in. Maybe less mainstream these days compared to Oasis but not at the time.
Shed Seven's new album earlier this year went to number one, Maximo Park and The Hives were top of the bill at the last festival I was at. Actually I've remarked with mates that the top bill at a lot of places in the last couple of years are the band's that were around 25 years ago.
I saw ocs/ash/embrace/sleeper the other week too and that day was packed out. Depends where your interests lie nowadays but still lots of love for the bands of that era.

Oasis are good, saw them at Loch Lomond and they were amazing but I've never been able to really enjoy songs with lyrics that don't make any sense and Noel loves these types of lyrics.

True, although the View lads proper went for each other.

Oasis were a band of their time, I quite liked a couple of their early songs, in my opinion they ran out of steam after their second album. My musical tastes have moved on since those days, but I can see the appeal for nostalgic reasons. I’ve watched Pixies and JAMC in recent years and enjoyed both shows.

I’m not sure I’d go to see Oasis on this tour though. I was given tickets to watch NGHFBs at on the beach festival in Brighton a couple of years ago. I ended up leaving before Noel came on, the atmosphere suddenly got more sinister as very drunken (mostly) blokes were fighting to get a decent view.

The whole feel of the place changed as the beered up bucket hat wearing thugs came out of the bars. I’ve been to a lot of festivals, raves and gigs in my time, but I’ve never felt an atmosphere as dark as that one.

Fair enough if that was your experience, have to say I've never felt that at a HFB gig though. Including ones at the Manchester Ritz and the like.

Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, Primal Scream, New Order - a lot of these gigs do have a bit of an edge to them but imo its no different to being in the away end at a Boro match. The vast majority of folk are just there for the football/music etc.

Heaton Park will be packed to the rafters (?!?!) with every scally and scrote in Manchester. Hope I'm wrong, but could be a little bit of bother there.
