Watched last three Brasil matches v Morocco(lost 2-1 in Africa), Guinea(won 4-1 in Brasil), and Senegal(lost 4-2 in Brasil). Caretaker manager and hotchpotch of new and old faces in team. Stand out Brasil player is Vinicius Junior who clearly sees himself and is seen as the heir apparent to talisman Neymar. However talented though(and he personifies what we used to expect from technically skilled and clever 'Brasilliant' players of old), he has a tendency to be greedy with possession, dwell on the ball and then lose it, and forget that he has another nine outfield players around him waiting to take advantage of the good work he has managed to achieve. Yes, the Brasilians are definitely a work in early progress whereas Senegal 🇸🇳, with Mane on fire were simply the much better team.

I was reading something recently about Brazil. They are in a bit of a power struggle between the traditional way Brazil play and the European way that most of their players now play in for their clubs. It can be effective and they have talented players but it's not Brazil. There are calls for a more Brazilian type of manager. The Fluminense manager plays some unusual, but very entertaining, tactics (link below) so he's a popular choice but there are also rumours Ancelotti might be taking over.
