Saw this coming tbh, now the switch away from ifollow back to Sky core streaming is coming. Was 11.99 for 24hr , I used to pick and choose the Boro games that I bought into but it's going up to 14.99 soon or for the start of next season. Hmmm not great. 3 times on in a month will mean a month pass for 1 month of 34.99 will be cheaper but anything less and its a steep rise. Bit of a trticky situation for me. Think I will be sticking with Maddo and Drury then even when we will be on TV - unless it's the deckchairs of course

Quelle surprise...greed knows no bounds

Everything is going up or changing to subscription. Some of the sites I use to get ideas for new music have changed either fully or part subscription. Aquarium Drunkard, Paste partial subscription. Many more to follow. When you add together all the increases in Streaming and other services you could not afford to get all the services you once did.
It cost £15:99 to watch Dune on Sky now that's more expensive than the cinema.

my...ahem...'mate' has a VPN and buys a season match pass from MFC - £150 last season so works out at £15 a month (y)

(based on the 10 months that there are games played)

Plus the money is going to the club not Elon Bezos or whoever it is

No wonder soo many people are using IPTV now. Not only are subscriptions increasing you need about 5 or 6 different ones now depending on what you want to watch.

To watch Football, SKY, TNT and Prime are needed across the season, so say about £60 a month for just them. ridiculous! that's without the standard charges for sky/Virgin on top of that.

its about £25 per month extra for all the Sky Sports Package if you already have the basic package and its legal, reliable and permanent. Also of the fee ends up with the Boro.

Just binned VM. Wife is not happy as her Alexa isn't working and she's just realised we also no longer have a home phone. I'm not really bothered about looking for alternatives I just won't bother watching.
