Not one boro striker in the top 19 goal scorers this season

For a top 8 team let alone a top half side not to have at least one player in the top 19 goal scorers is a damning indictment esp as it goes as low as 8 goals.
 
I'm sure they said on sky in midweek we'd scored 116 goals in 106 home games. That's shocking and frankly goes back years😕

It's hard to say when we had a decent forward? Bamford was probably the last one.

One things for sure we've sp*nked millions on them. When was the last time we had a forward who clubs wanted to sign? We just end up giving them away for a massive loss.
 
It's a persistent issue, these are the times we have had someone in the top 10 in recent years (exclusively with us):

17/18 Britt was 7th with 15 goals, top was Vydra with 21
14/15 Bamford was 9th with 17 goals, top scorer was Murphy with 27
12/13 McDonald was 20th with 12 goals, top was Murray with 30
11/12 Emnes with 14th with 14 goals, top was Lambert with 27
06/07 Viduka 4th with 14 & Yakubu 8th with 12, top scorer Drogba with 20

Two top 10 goal scorers in 14 years....but still nowhere near troubling the top of the scoring charts. That's poor.
