Reading this thread made me think of 2 actors who never change their accents no matter what. I give you:
Michael Caine
Sean 'Ramiresh' Connery
There must be more .
Hugh Grant, not only does he not change his accent he tends to play pretty much the same character time and time again.
Having said that I think he seems like a decent bloke, and his self parody in Paddington 2 is absolutely brilliant.

Fulham fan to, self declared vl back when they weren't that great and every one , like Vic reeves, claiming to love ChelseaI was about to say the same thing. It’s a great performance from him in a very good film.
"He truly was the goddam cotton pick'n son of God. Yee ha"John Wayne, an oldie , but the same bloke in every film.
Which make his Roman Centurion in The Greatest Story Ever Told even more fascinating.
As is Jack Black in every film he plays jack Black.Seth Rogan is Seth Rogan in every film.
The famous story is after saying the line " Truly, he was the son of god" several times he was asked by the director , "John, say it with Awe John, with Awe""He truly was the goddam cotton pick'n son of God. Yee ha"
You need to see 'The Gentlemen'. Its very good imho.Hugh Grant, not only does he not change his accent he tends to play pretty much the same character time and time again.
