Absolutely baffling that it wasn't given.

They're both as bad as each other for benefitting from questionable refereeing decisions, but that is absolutely blatant and VAR actually checking it and still clearing it makes no sense.

Offside, apparently.

Which would make sense, but then they've literally just said straight after they wouldn't have given it anyway, so...

The commentators have also made the point that VAR made no mention of that during the incident itself, as they can hear the audio.
 
Looks like it wasn’t given due to the Rangers player being offside when the ball was played. Which is fair enough, now they’ve finally explained why it was ruled out and shown the relevant footage. 👍🏻
 
Been a good game overall.

Draw would have probably been the right result, some big saves from Joe Hart and wasted chances from Rangers.
