Not a happy Nou Camper: Martin Braithwaite :-D

"..Martin Braithwaite, who was booed before Sunday's pre-season game against Pumas at the Nou Camp"

seems his dream move has turned sour.... maybe on his way out the door, or if he doesn't..... those Catalan roads can be treacherous this time of year.... careful now...

I read the anger is because he wont rip up his contract and walk away for free. And why should he? Same with De Jong, they want him to walk away from the £17m they owe him, to allow them to register a load of players they just splashed a load of cash on. The club is a joke.

indeed, club is trying to 'restructure' their massive debt & failing to honour players contracts... all should stick out for what they are owed & then be allowed to walk away on a free, if they want.

however, there is no doubt it has turned very sour for him.

As much of a d*ck as he was here, he’s in the right. They gave him a contract and should honour it. If they signed nobody and asked him to walk away because they were potless then it might be a different question of right/wrong but Barca are shameless cheats, same goes for Real Madrid. Hopefully Villarreal batter them both

Yeah, cannot stand him but he's not in the wrong here.

Barcelona are acting appallingly.

They'd have points deductions if they were in England and couldn't afford to pay their players but kept signing more anyway.

It not that they are sitting on hefty contracts, it's that they did the club a favour and deferred wages and now the club want shot so they don't have to pay them. Scandalous for a club that was once too ethical to have a shirt sponsor.

He might be in the right, but also something of a hypocrite too.

Strange he's so big on contracts now given the severe lack of enthusiasm he had for honouring his contract with us.

What part of his contract didn’t he honour with boro?

Interesting that many defending him here but lot of people thought very badly of downing for not foregoing his appearances contract trigger

I read earlier that the club are trying to use allegations of improper conduct by their own board and possibly agents to get out of the contract. It’s mental how low they’re willing to stoop to get the big name players registered.

It was you calling him a hypocrite, you implied he was being a shyster about his contract
I implied nothing. I said he showed a lack of enthusiasm for honouring his contract. He asked to leave twice, if that's not a lack of enthusiasm for it, I don't know what is?

I didn't say he didn't honour his contract. Which is what you quite clearly claimed I'd said and tried to score a point off.

You appear to be deliberately misinterpreting what I've written to try and score points. I don't think it's the first time you've done it and it's a bit tedious to be honest.

On that summary he isn’t a hypocrite is he? Which is what you claimed him to be
