If Sunderland can hold on, they will be very up for it against SU as they will believe again that they can get into the play offs. All adds to the difficulties facing SU. Just getting there would be some achievement for them and Mogga, considering they have just come up and the horrendous luck with injuries etc they have had this season. I am hopeful of getting second spot and would love it if they came up too, as that would be some more games against NE Teams next year. Plus that would guarantee we would only have to finish above two other teams to stay up.

I don’t want them in the play offs.

A draw is decent for us, but won't do much for them. They can do us a favour this coming week by doing themselves a favour.

I doubt losing to Sunderland in the play offs would be any different to the Norwich loss in the final. Having all summer to stew over that defeat was about as bad as it gets.
