Norwich fans hate Bamford and Karanka

Never understood this issue they had and appear to still have with our so called arrogance. We had a chant that mentioned we're going up and they thought that was in bad taste - Imagine how effective 'we might be going up' would have.

As someone said above, i remember getting the tube back into Central London with a mix of fans and you would think they had lost.

He wasn’t on the bench. Nsue was but can’t remember he had been “naughty”
Not sure if Nsue had been used as a right back that season? Was seen purely as a wide midfielder at the time I think?

Not sure when the penny dropped or why AK started playing him there but he was excellent in that position the season after.

I seem to remember Fredericks was definitely dropped out of nowhere though, I don't remember that happening with Nsue.

Just had a quick look at Fredericks stats from that season and he only played once out of the last 10 league games (not including play-offs).

Found this as well whilst googling https://fmttmboro.com/index.php?threads/ryan-fredericks.33261/page-2 plenty of speculation!

Norwich have had plenty of spawny 1 nil wins here after we dinsted. Annoying club for me. About time we spanked them

You can kind of understand it from them at the time, you know how frustrated we felt with Burnley's time-wasting tactics at ours for the last 25-30 minutes? Well imagine that for the last 85-90% of the game and much more blatant...😳
The Masterclass in $hithousery...🤣

You would have thought that particular gripe would have been laid to rest by Wembley though? Still they're not ones for really celebrating wildly so maybe they have less of a release valve, who knows?🤔

I can still hear the yellow yellow yellow song from Wembley. Haunts me to this day.

I was also surprised that they seemed to empty Wembley at the final whistle rather than staying behind to celebrate.
Aye they quietly left, had a few handshakes with each other and filed reservedly back onto the tube. Which puzzled the fook out of me, still maybe it's just their character.

To be fair, we came out the blocks in that game and got ion top early on, it was a perfect big game away performance really. We should've made it 2-0 also later on but Bamford shot when Leadbitter had a tap in if he's squared it.

They definitely have a strange bunch of fans.

I remember leaving Wembley just after FT and I couldn't believe the amount of yellow/green shirts I saw coming out of the stadium. Thousands chose to leave instead of celebrate their play off win.

If that was the other way around, we'd have still been in Wembley at 8pm!

I was about to say the same thing!

We were walking back to the green man pub and we were surrounded by Norwich fans just talking away to themselves, It was like they're the ones who just got beat.

If it was the other way round I'd imagine a lot of coaches would have left back to Boro half empty.

To be fair we proper did a job on them in that away game, we started well, got the goal and nicked the 1-0, proper frustrated them.

Agree with the comment about their fans after the PO final, you'd think they'd just won a pre season friendly, never seen fans celebrate so little after such a huge win.
Am I right in thinking we battered them for the first 20 minutes of that game and should have been out of sight by half time. I also seem to remember them kicking lumps out of Bamford.

These games all seem to run into one and I might be talking about a mixture of games. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Can't seem to see anything I disagree with there from their point of view, Bamford was never the same after that game and Dimi was doing all sorts to waste time.

It's just the story from the other side is all I'm reading.

I did think it was quite funny on Wembley Way a large group of Norwich fans walked past singing 'we pay your benefits' repeatedly.

Howson and Hoolahan were brilliant for them that day.

Decent club, decent fans, decent owners. Hope we win but wish them no ill. I liked that Boro team that season but we stank out Wembley and were well beaten.

No, not really. Boro did start quickly and Norwich scored an own goal early on. After that I don't think Boro had a shot, Norwich did everything but score for 80 minutes. It could have been 6-1 and nobody could have complained.

After the playoff final Alex Neill said that game taught him how to win the final, and he carried it out.
