Again not modern, but "tonight there's going to be a jail break, somewhere in this town". Errr that'll be in the jail I suspect.

The jail break would still be from the jail. They might have tunnelled out. Then they could emerge from anywhere!
There could be more than one jail in the town
Who mentioned doughnut factoriesBut the jailbreak will still be at the jail. There's not going to be a jailbreak in the doughnut factory.
Even a city like London only has 7 jails, so it's not difficult to narrow down.
I assume he does. Otherwise he wouldn't be singing about it. But it does raise the question, why is he singing about it instead of informing the authorities and telling them everything he knows. Unless, of course, he's on the side of those breaking out in which case he's not actually doing them any favours, is he?Who mentioned doughnut factories
He’s just saying there’s going to be a jailbreak at one of the jails in town.
Which one ?
Who knows.
Look, I know there's going to be a jailbreak ok? Definitely from one of the jails in this town, but that's all I know, apart of course that it's tonight. Sometimes you get wind of these things but you have to go off imperfect or incomplete information. Just passing on what I know, if the authorities don't want to beef up security or something that's on them - don't shoot the messenger.I assume he does. Otherwise he wouldn't be singing about it. This rather thickens the plot. The jailbreak is from one of potentially several jails somewhere in this town. Dublin and London are cities, so they're ruled out. In fact how many actual towns have more than one jail? Tring? Must narrow it right down.So let's assume he knows there's a jailbreak, and what town it's going to be in, but doesn't have all the specifics.
Then the correct way to express that would surely be "tonights there's going to be a jailbreak at one of the jails in (let's assume for the purposes of this example) Dublin" otherwise he's leaving a lot open to interpretation.
What happens if the person listening to the song is a police chief in say London, and assembles a massive security operation, just to find out there was never any plans for a jailbreak in London at all and Lynott's lack of specificity has cost the tax payers thousands in police overtime.
Irresponsible I say.
So I asked ChatGPT and it doesn't know, so again Lynott's constant toying with his audience is getting rather tiresome. Just tell us where it's happening man, or better still alert the authorities in the respective police district. This rather thickens the plot. In my view the jailbreak occurs at the point the prisoners break free. The jail break would still be from the jail.
