Noel Gallagher's HFB - Open The Door, See What You Find

Plodding dad rock
Love it when people who are older than about 25 use the term “dad rock” as if they somehow don’t fit the demographic. The term is meant to be something 18 year olds use as a derogatory remark about older men. Sort of loses its meaning when Gen X and baby boomers use it. I’ve seen people use it on here who I know are in their 60s and above. 😂

Looking forward to listening to the full album tomorrow, all of the songs released so far have been excellent.

Ok I'll put it another way, its $hite

Interesting take.. although I think it was just a cut and paste job. Disappointing imo.
Yeah, Noel has always used similar chord progressions in fairness. Not sure whether he was trying to make some kind of statement with this song, or whether it's just unintentionally blatant.

I'm not a big fan of the song in fairness.

Dead to the world on the other hand is one of the best songs he's ever written in my opinion. I'm looking forward to hearing the album in its entirety.

Suddenly found we have some resident Record Producers and Song Writers on here.
Must add the names to my little red book (y)
