His voice is dreadfulGetting 60's vibes from this song. Think his latest solo album is going to be his best yet.
Love it when people who are older than about 25 use the term “dad rock” as if they somehow don’t fit the demographic. The term is meant to be something 18 year olds use as a derogatory remark about older men. Sort of loses its meaning when Gen X and baby boomers use it. I’ve seen people use it on here who I know are in their 60s and above.Plodding dad rock
I wasn’t keen on Pretty Boy. Liked the others. Council Skies took a bit of getting into but I have now.Looking forward to listening to the full album tomorrow, all of the songs released so far have been excellent.

I think more so in this particular song.. hasn't bothered me beforeIn general, or on this particular song?
Fair enough. Think his voice gets a bit lost in the production. If I had one criticism of the song it's that it does feel a bit over-preduced. Still like it though.I think more so in this particular song.. hasn't bothered me before

To be fair, I have to agree.
I mean.. this doesn’t sound over produced.. but he does sound shyte.

That's shockingly bad![]()
Yeah, Noel has always used similar chord progressions in fairness. Not sure whether he was trying to make some kind of statement with this song, or whether it's just unintentionally blatant.Interesting take.. although I think it was just a cut and paste job. Disappointing imo.
Yeah, they're really interesting to listen to.
