Hi Sportsfans, it's that time again 👍📖✍️
A pretty drab 0-0 v Rotherham, a single point in the last 2 home games simply isn't good enough. You need to change the formation Chris, it's obvious we've been sussed out.

Rotherham looked half decent, despite not having a shot on target. They played out from the back and were comfortable in possession. Their manager has done a really good job, no wonder he's been linked with Huddersfield 👍

Rotherham had several players that stood out.
No.4 Daniel Barlaser (ex Newcastle) protected the defence well in the holding role and No 18 Oliver Rathbone was neat and tidy in midfield and always looking to get on the ball.

The Millers looked strong down the left side and No.2 Wes Harding and No.3 Cohen Bramall combined really well to keep Isaiah Jones quiet and cause some problems of their own.
Nobbys choice No.3 Cohen Bramall got the upper hand against Jones and looked a really good player, quick, direct and skilfull.
After playing in non league, Bramall was picked up by Arsenal and spent time on loan at Birmingham before moving to Colchester and then Lincoln. Rotherham signed him at the start of this season.
Looks a good player and at 26 looks at the top of his game 👍 He's in the Notebook 📖✍️

Think you’ve got this one badly wrong again Nobby - their stand out player was the kid they got on loan from Arsènal, Brooke Norton-Cuffy. Only 18 but looks a real prospect, strong, pacey and very skilful, this lad will be a star.

Their number 10 playing at RWB would have got in the notebook for me. Looked an absolute unit.

Brooke Norton-Cuffy - on loan from arsenal, and was shocked to discover only 18 years old!
Thought he flattered to deceive a little, got the ball in some good positions.but couldn't make it count. At 18 he's certainly got potential though Alex 👍

Like I said to Alex, couldn't get past his man at all. You probably noticed him because of his hairstyle chicken 👍

think I would have gone with Callum o’dowda for Cardiff as well 😮

Decent LWB and very good in the air, which would be useful for us with Steffan’s accurate goal kicks. He’s obviously not as good as Giles overall, though

Thought that the No 4 Barlaser looked a good holding midfielder

I agree with some of the other posters here Nobby. Norton-Cuffy looked a tidy player.

Pointless observation (probably tells you about how enthralling the match was), but he's the first player I've ever seen with a double barrelled surname that had the two names on top of one another on the back of his shirt rather than stretching across the shoulders (God, that game was devoid of excitement!).

Brilliant observations Rooster 🐓🤣

Bramall was Recommended to Boro mid June, Rotherham met his £200k buy out clause and he went there. Would have been a good signing for us but our people decided not to go for him

I didn't know that Simply Red...
Bramall stood out a mile for me, he was the reason Jones had a poor game 👍

No surprise then after my Notebook post Mr Gibson said enough was enough, and we have have a new head of recruitment....

Plenty of players in my list for starters 📖✍️

Went with wrong 1 Nobby. Ño 2 Wes Harding was better IMHO.

I must say Boro made them look good. Jones is being critsised for being out of form, but Boro don't have a plan to released him when he's being double or triple teamed.
