no it wasn't Iran proved themselves a capable side, once we'd demolished them, the USA are a fit, stubborn and organised team (exactly what has caused us problems in the past), Wales were poor (but then we've finished botto of a group with Costa Rica before), but most groups have one poor team.
 
I am probably alone in this but I think Argentina will take France apart. I didn't rate France all that much when England played them. Workman like, I would say.
