I wouldn't imagine with Leo's new role that he would be in the dugout. I could be wrong though. Isn't Grant working with the academy players still?

Correct - wouldn't expect the Head of Player Pathway and Development to be in the dug out at an away match?
 
They purposely gave him a role that would involve him not being around. Can't imagine Carrick could be arsed with his chest beating and starting fights for 90 minutes
