Nmecha

I agree an awful player, but I reckon his pace would be hurt teams at Sunderlands level.

Lets hope its them he hurts mind :D

I don't know, there's something there (a bit like Fletcher) he needs to play games. He may never make it as a top player but he should be able to play at a decent level.

Don't want him here but I think a season or a half at Sunlun might just get him playing a bit.

Hmmm I don’t know there looked to be something missing for me. But you could be right, all it takes with some players is to find a bit off form at a particular club and then their career path is back on an upward trajectory. It’s probably in his best interests if he goes there.

Woodys signings were an absolute disaster apart from Roberts, even he would have been in that group if it wasn't for lockdown too - played a couple of games and got a bad hamstring injury.

I hold a small bit of hope that dijksteel will come good and thats it.

Yeah Dijksteel was playing well towards the end so I have a bit of hope too that he could play an important role next season

Yeah, he's obviously got some ability but just doesn't seem able to use it to actually hurt teams or make himself useful. Apparently he did better at Preston, albeit still didn't set the world alight.

He's also one of those players who doesn't seem to have an obvious position. Is he a striker? A winger? Possibly best suited to the right of a front three but even playing there you need to carry more of a goal threat and/or be more involved in games than he seems to be.

People slate Woody for picking Gestede against Swansea (and rightly so) but Nmecha was an even more mind boggling decision.

Useless, Alex Nimely Mk II. Nmecha is exactly the kind of player I'm meaning when I say a lot of players these days are just chancers who only care about maintaining a millionaire lifestyle rather than actually improving their game. It's like they get their first pro contract and think it's job done, only worry is what **** tattoo sleeve to get and getting their hair cut every 3 days.

I think he will be pretty average at that level. He can't trap a ball, beat a man, he's poor in the air. Can you actually remember him getting into many goalscoring positions during his time here. I barely even remember him missing sitters.

He's scored 6 goals in nearly 80 appearances as a forward (used loosely) for 3 teams.

He's awful. I'm not even sure how can be classed as a forward with those stats😂

I always saw a player in Fletcher, his movement was good. Not a lot else, but its good to see what he developed in to.

Nmecha, erm....

Honestly don't know how anyone can say they see something in him.

He is absolutely awful.
His record shows he's rubbish
His performances showed he's rubbish.

Don't even think he'd be good enough for Sunderland neither.

Up there with Nimely and Caleb Folan for terrible loan strikers.
