NHS Receives George Cross

This government is only interested in profits (preferably for their chums) and the public sector is viewed through this lens.

The NHS is close to be irreparably broken and massively underfunded, it's the perfect opportunity for the private sector to step in and "save the day"*

*deliver the same service but also make a profit by getting 2 people to do the jobs of 3.

The George Cross for performing heroically whilst under fire from the UK government.
This ‘so called’ Queen and the whole royal family are fully tooled up Tories. This is a cooked up distraction stunt.
Give em the GC and it comes from the queen….no less !
Biggest political stunt yet from the royal family who are doing this populist governments dirty work more and more….trump visit, influencing Scotland, noticed they kept quiet about Brexit, they didn’t want the tories falling apart as their investments start to suffer
Evil feckers

Majority of the people of this country are too thick to see it though….they keep getting hoodwinked (influenced) by the Tory press billionaires who want to keep them in their box
What are we to do ?

Im sure the majority of nurses would tell them where to put it! Being a retired mental nurse myself I still keep in touch with colleagues, from mental and general nursing. They don't appreciate these 'stunts'. It is just like the clapping fiasco. It is an insult to nurses and carers who have worked their socks off to save lives, and given their own lives, through the pandemic. No other profession has done so much, to be treated so badly.
Agree 110%
Hemorrhaging staff like shelling peas - especially older experienced staff.
Some I know have served for many years and have taken early retirement [on the old contracts which were worth something].
Others have gone part-time or left the profession altogether.
With few young nurses in the pipeline and a virtual ban on Doctors and Clinical Practitioners from the other side of the channel - the outlook is bleak.

We’ve become an electorate where tokenism and sloganeering matter more than actual actions and this will be lapped up by those who think corruption, incompetence and deception are part of doing a decent prime ministerial job, when asked about the contribution of the NHS being ignored they’ll wave their Union Flag and say they were given an honour far greater than financial reward they received a medal, the mealy mouth will add for simply doing their jobs….what more could they want ?

I don't think theres anything practical that can be done, only how that the younger generation is more aware of the reality.

Generally speaking, the older you get the more likely you are to vote Conservative in this country.
