Neymar...

He should've been the successor to Messi and Ronaldo but has just turned into a figure of derision to the majority of football fans.

To be fair a fair many of that PSG side are a bit 'dramatic'. Woeful screaming when touched (used loosely) and plenty of imaginary card waving😕

I really just don't like them. They have been like that for a few years. I would love city to win it just to shut scousers up.

Chelsea v City final would be a good watch.

Absolutely love him - world class quality. Yes, he's behaved questionably on the pitch at times but his job description is "footballer" and very few in the world can match him on those terms.

I also like who he's brought out the technician in Mbappe. When he first broke through at Monaco he was all about pace and power (which are still massive attributes) but his technique has improved massively, no doubt inspired by Neymar's brilliance.

I can't truly respect a footballer that throws themselves about and play acts as much as Neymar. I watched him a lot when he played for Barca, he could be a really good player if he rains in the dishonesty

my kids are going crazy over him at the moment, mainly as you can unlock him as a skin on fortnite. it has been carnage on xbox the past few nights. he must be getting a nice little earner out of that

Can't stand him to be honest, despite his obvious talent.

Sport should be played in the right way, with honesty and dignity and he simply can't claim to do that. It's such a shame because he should be regarded as one of the best of his generation, but he's hard to warm to.

He also does very little of the defensive side of the game, mbappe the same, which means PSG aren't as solid as they could be.

Was amusing when he was telling Diaz to "get up" after he was on the other end for once!

Tie still isn't over, as Neymar and Mbappe is still a ridiculously dangerous strike force.

Fantastic footballer, but his appearance record at PSG is pathetic. He’s only managed half a league seasons worth once, and that was only 20.

He's faded badly in the second half in the two games I've seen him (last night and Bayern Munich quarter final). Is he unfit?

He shouldn't have left Barca.

I understand why he did, because if he stayed there, he'd forever be in Messi's shadow and he so badly wants to win the Ballon D'or.

He's a brilliant footballer, however, his antics and playacting certainly doesn't help him.

Doesn't that just sum him up though? It's supposed to be a team sport yet he left an incredible team and moved to a far weaker league because he wasn't getting enough individual recognition.

Seen a few current players saying he's the most exciting player to watch at the moment. Is he? I can't stand watching him, his play acting is cringeworthy. He looks good for a few minutes and goes missing for the rest of the 90.

Doesn't even come close to Messi or Ronaldo, shows how good we had it when they were in their pomp that Neymar is now considered to be the best in the world by some.

This is how city got back into it last night for me. The pair of them in the second half just sacked off pressing the city back line, not sure if that was orders or if they just decided they couldn't be bothered - it was weird as it was causing city all kinds of problems for the first half.
