Next time Boro play Wilder

He did alright at Boro in his 1st season, it was the April form that let us down, even before the interest from Burnley became known.
He reintroduced Chuba into the squad after his return from Greece, most on here wanted rid of Chuba and probably within the club as well
His 2nd season started to resemble a car crash but the team apart from Hayden( thanks Leo) was the one that MC would take over and we were already and able to adapt to the new coach probably because while weren't getting the results under CW we were mostly putting in some good performances but not getting results, MC turned that around.
I will personally clap him if he he's still at the blades and he comes back to our ground.

Clapping him would be too far but I wont boo him

Only because Gibson wouldn't let him sign McGoldrick or Gayle.
He had to play him against Marseille and Hibs due to lack of options. He impressed in those games.
Until then Wilder had written him off so that he was training by himself and didn't even have a squad number. Luckily, number 29 was still available.

I don't think CWhad written him off because he hadn't seen him in person, and he was probably still hoping to get his targets in but the sell him instruction was probably coming from elsewhere, especially the extension clause which wasnt likely to be activated on his back of his prior performances. Once CW realised he was the only option he was likely to have in for the start of the season he fully committed to him.
