Newcastle United, ZERO signings...

So they have one thing most 10 down don't. A goal scorer (if he stays fit). I genuinely believe 3 worse sides.
...and that's the crux of it, 'if he stays fit'. He's had a career filled with injury problems and Newcastle have effectively gone all in on him to save them. It's a risk, if he stays fit they'll finish 14th, if he doesn't they'll be in the bottom 5

Minus once decent season with Hull he has done nothing since his Wigan days over 10 years ago. Doesnt deserve to be anywhere near a premier league side
Pretty sure he's more than deserved his chance to stay on at Newcastle for a 3rd consecutive season....

They rarely look like going down yet have a shocking squad on paper.

He also arguably plays better football than the previous manager whilst finishing with very similar points total.

I would snap your hands off for Bruce to be our manager (once Warnock leaves)

They looked like going down at one point, didnt they have a run of 2 wins in over 20 games at one stage last season?

I seem to remember there was a point in which Fulham caught them and Fulham looked to have the better form and defence going into the run in, but within a couple of games, Bruce steered them to safety and Fulham ended up dead and buried.

He's finished his two seasons as Newcastle manager on 44 & 45 points...same as the two seasons before under Rafa....whilst playing more offensively (arguably not a lot, but definitely better than Benitez).

If they keep ASM and Wilson fit then they will be as good as two new signings - however, both are very unlikely to go a full season without injury.

Pretty much same as usual with Bruce doing exactly what Ashley employed him to do.

I think both Bruce & Dyche are underrated good PL managers who have proven it overtime

Who does deserve to be a PL manager?
When they are only a few teams who win anything the rest sit between midtable & a relegation battle, for my money Bruce & Dyche are as good as the other managers of teams who fall in that category
