just wondering if anybody had any tips regarding airport parking at Newcastle. I need to make a weekly commute to Denmark via Amsterdam at Newcastle airport for the next 1~2 months. unsociable hours in my flight times means that I’ll be having to drive to the airport Leaving my car Monday- Friday.

looking at airport pricing this will cost me 70 quid a week, just wondered if anybody knows of any car parks near that would be a bit cheaper or any hints/tips to save a little money ?

Park in the westerhope area (plenty of quiet residential streets with no parking restrictions) and get a taxi to the airport for approx 12-13 quid. There may be other residential areas closer to the airport which I'm unaware of.

Have you done this before ? Seems abit risky leaving my car for 5 days , especially if I can’t get hold of a taxi at 2am to go catch my flight outbound

If you're looking to book parking direct with Newcastle Airport, make sure to check other sites offering their car parks too. Holiday Extras are usually always running some form of discount. There's always voucher codes available from various voucher websites too. Combine these with utilising a cashback site such as TopCashback or Quidco and you'll save quite a bit if this is going to be a regular thing.

Looks like there's also an Airparks car park there which usually always offer deals too - https://www.airparks.co.uk/newcastle-airport-parking/discount-code.html

Booking on this link saved me a tenner! I’ll have a look at getting cash back thanks !

Literally just got back from a week away, priority booker was sound. £75 for a week.

I used a park and ride at Black Callerton doing my Denmark run, direct flight then though, with Widerøe. Cost me £50 or so in 2007.

I was doing weekly to Dublin in the last few years and did the X10 to Heworth then Metro to the airport for £8 return.

Parked outside of my cousin's house a few times and had no issues. It's a very quiet residential area and I can't see why any one car would targeted seeing as lots of others park their cars along that road. I always pre-book my taxi using the budget taxis app.
