I took the £4 option in the end, it was cold and wet, pulled in to drop off and straight back out.

I would say the person being dropped off would be happy to pay it.

A past colleague dropped his father in law off at the airport and refused to pay the £1 as it was at the time and made him drop him off at the round a bout.. a few weeks later the fine appeared and he refused to admit that he’d made his son in law let him out before the barrier and told him it was his bill to pay… what a charm..
